Latpay is a global payments and merchant services provider, helping businesses accept and send payments online, in person, on a recurring basis and in unattended environments.
We support major payment methods and networks including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, EFTPOS, Apple Pay and Google Pay, together with Open Banking, SEPA payments and international wire transfers.
Through one payment partner, we provide the infrastructure, technology and regulated payment services needed to manage payments securely and compliantly.
A Latpay partner is any organisation with an agreed commercial relationship to introduce, integrate, resell or support Latpay’s payment solutions. In practice this includes software vendors, hardware manufacturers, resellers and other service providers who work with businesses that need to accept payments – online, in-person or in unattended environments.
You introduce the merchant relationship and an understanding of their needs. We provide the payment technology, gateway, compliance and onboarding engine, transaction processing, and ongoing support. You focus on the relationship and, where relevant, the technical integration; we handle the payments infrastructure behind it.
A merchant is a business that accepts payments through Latpay for its own sales. A partner introduces, integrates or supports merchants on Latpay’s behalf under a separate commercial arrangement
Latpay operates across Australia, the UK and Europe, and continues to expand into new regions alongside our partners.
As a Latpay partner, you can add value for your customers by integrating Latpay’s payment solutions into your systems via API, offer payment options across multiple channels and currencies, and unlock an additional revenue stream through flexible commercial terms and commission structures tailored to your business model. You also gain access to a proven PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment platform, marketing resources, a dedicated Partner Manager and real-time reporting, while Latpay supports integration, payment operations, administration and reporting.
Our current regulated footprint covers Australia, the UK and Europe. If a merchant or opportunity sits outside these markets, raise it with your Partner Manager to discuss what’s possible.
Latpay is responsible for the regulated payment services, including merchant due diligence and approval, payment processing and ensuring merchants receive their settlement funds.
Beyond this, the operating model is flexible. Latpay can manage the full payments lifecycle, including onboarding, merchant setup, pricing, billing, settlement, reporting, technical support and ongoing account management, or these responsibilities can be shared with the partner depending on the partnership model.
Partners can remain as involved as they choose, from simply referring merchants through to managing onboarding, integration and the day-to-day merchant relationship, while Latpay provides the underlying payment infrastructure, products and regulated services.
No. Latpay retains ultimate responsibility for merchant CDD, AML/KYC checks and approval in line with our regulatory obligations and internal policies.
The process is flexible. Partners can facilitate onboarding, collect information and help merchants provide the required documentation. Latpay can communicate directly with the merchant or through the partner, depending on the agreed operating model, while retaining responsibility for the compliance review and final approval.
Yes. Onboarding can be tailored to your model, with merchant information submitted by batch upload, onboarding API or a branded application link.
You can manage the merchant experience within your own platform, or have Latpay handle it directly while remaining in the background.
Once commercials, pricing and the onboarding model are agreed, merchant applications are submitted through your chosen onboarding method.
Latpay completes CDD and approval within the agreed SLA, sets up the merchant account and issues the required credentials. From there, we support testing through to go-live.
Your level of involvement in onboarding and ongoing operations is flexible and agreed as part of the partnership model.
Once documentation is complete, onboarding is typically finalised within 24-48 hours. Most technical integrations complete within one to five days, depending on complexity.
Requirements vary by merchant and jurisdiction, but generally include standard KYB information for the business and KYC information for its directors and beneficial owners.
This typically covers business registration details, ownership information, identification, address verification and any relevant licences.
Merchant applications are usually submitted through the onboarding channel agreed with the partner upfront.
Where a merchant applies directly to Latpay, they can still be linked to the relevant Partner Client Group so the relationship remains aligned to the partnership.
Our Compliance team will keep you updated and come back to you or the merchant directly if further information is needed. Activation only proceeds once compliance has approved the merchant, which protects you, the merchant and Latpay.
Yes. Latpay supports Open Banking, also known as, Account-to-Account (A2A) payments, depending on the country and available banking rails.
Businesses can use A2A payments for both payments in and payments out, including real-time bank transfers, B2B payments, B2C payments, customer collections and payouts. Open Banking provides a secure alternative to card payments by moving funds directly between bank accounts.
Yes. Latpay’s payment technology can be branded under your business name, so you can deliver a seamless, fully integrated payment experience to your clients under your own brand.
Yes. Latpay can integrate directly with your platform or software to enable payments as part of your own product offering.
Our APIs and payment technology can be embedded into your existing environment, allowing you to offer payment services to your merchants without changing the way they use your platform.

This allows payments to be built into the partner’s existing platform and delivered to merchants as part of their normal customer experience.
No. Partners can work with Latpay whether or not they operate their own payment platform.
Where you have your own platform, we provide the APIs, SDKs and credentials needed to integrate payments into your product. Where you don’t, Latpay can support the merchant integration directly and manage the technical setup through to go-live.
Yes. Our technical team supports you from sandbox testing through to live production, with full developer documentation and sample code.
Partner commercials are agreed based on the partnership model, the payment services required and the expected merchant profile.
Once an NDA is in place, we work with you to understand how payments need to operate across your business and agree a commercial structure that supports the partnership.
We typically look at the expected number of merchants, sites or payment terminals, transaction volumes, transaction values, payment types and anticipated growth.
This gives us the information needed to build a commercial model suited to the partnership.
Yes. Different partners operate in different ways, so the commercial structure can be tailored to suit the partner model, payment flow and level of involvement.
The agreed structure is documented upfront as part of the partnership.
Latpay manages merchant settlement as part of the payment service, with settlement arrangements agreed during onboarding.
The settlement model can be configured to suit the payment products, currencies and jurisdictions being supported.
Yes. Depending on your agreement type, partners can earn ongoing revenue share per merchant or another commission structure suited to your business model. Your Partner Manager will confirm the specifics for your partnership.
The process is straightforward. Once your partnership is approved, you’ll get access to the Partner Portal, marketing materials, and onboarding support from our technical and account management teams to get you set up and ready to start referring or integrating merchants.
You’ll have a dedicated Partner Manager as your day-to-day contact, along with direct access to Compliance, technical and financial support contacts as needed. General partner enquiries can also go to partners@latpay.com.
Latpay provides partners with co-branded marketing materials, product sheets and promotional content, and we’re glad to help create tailored collateral where it would help you sell in.
You’ll have access to the Latpay Partner Portal and Dashboard for real-time referral, revenue and transaction reporting, plus daily account balance visibility via the Latpay Merchant Hub.
Yes. Arrangements can evolve as your business grows – for example, taking on more of the document collection or submitting merchants via API yourself. Just raise it with your Partner Manager.
Speak with our Partner Team to discuss your business model and how a partnership would work in practice. We’ll talk through commercial terms, integration options and the onboarding process for your first merchants.
